This was a live video conversation with Dr. Steve Wexler and Dr. Isaac Hebden for pastors.  As we deal with the re-distributed weight of responsibility you have assumed during this Covid crisis, what are some potential warning signs we should watch for and how can we make sure you are taking care of your own personal mental and spiritual health?

Dr. Steven Wexler

Dr. Wexler is the pastor of Abundant Life Foursquare church in Bremerton, WA. He is also a licensed clinical marriage & family therapist who has worked closely with the DCP in our church planting assessments. He has been counseling for over 30 years in various settings. His counseling orientation is Christian based with an approach that is eclectic, meaning a wide variety of treatment techniques and approaches dealing with beliefs, thoughts, feelings, values and behavior patters and interpersonal dynamics.

Dr. Isaac Hebden

Dr. Hebden is the pastor of The Intersection in Spokane Valley, WA. He has his Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Spiritual Formation from Portland Seminary of George Fox University. Dr. Hebden wrote his dissertation on The Avoidance of Burnout among Open Bible Pastors: Creating Healthy and Vibrant Leaders in Ministry. So he is uniquely qualified to speak into this topic.
